I have found a very informative documentary on ways hackers and internet mis-users use the internet to preform their illegal activities. It is titled " Internet Fraud". As you can tell the documentary producers were not very creative with the title. However were very informative with the video post. I have decided to upload it to the blog to further enhance the knowledge around what this term means and revolves around.

I found an interesting article on phishing scams. Its about Nigeria, Africa using phishing scams on a regular basis. This article claims that 10 percent of phishing scams originate in Africa (75% originate in the US). The Nigerian's have increased their use of phishing scams so much that the government has banned the use of cyber cafes at night time.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow this MSNBC article claims that the use of these phishing scams by Nigerians has significantly harmed the reputation of the country.
Anyhow many country's will continue to use fraudulent scams in an effort to get quick cash.
